Fire Up The Grill! Grilled Salmon with a Garlic & Herb Marinade, is what's cook'n for dinner tonight. The best part is that it's super simple!
- Ingredients:
- 2-4 salmon steaks or filets; approx. 4-6 oz each
- 3/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic; finely minced
- 2 large lemons, juiced to 2 Tbsp; lemon juice is also a substitute
- 1 Tbsp fresh parsley; finely chopped
- 2 tsp dry basil
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cane sugar
- Directions:
- Combine ingredients 2-8 in blender, food processor or your handy Magic Bullet, pulse until smooth.
- Place fish in a container & cover with marinade.
- Refrigerate for 30-60 minutes, or overnight.
- Brush grill with olive oil & preheat.
- Place fish on hot grill for 5-7 minutes per side, or until fish begins to flake with a fork and is opaque through to center.
- Overcooking will make fish very dry, very fast.
- Serve with a fresh mixed greens salad or perhaps maybe some asparagus spears.
- Enjoy!
