I just put a 2lb pork roast in the 6 qt slow-cooker. I seasoned it with salt & pepper then browned it on med-high on the stove top for about 4 minutes. I sliced a yam in half, added 1/2 cup of water with some fresh rosemary, thyme and sage and placed the yam at the bottom of the cooker. I put the roast on top of the yam and put jalapeños, carrots, celery, red potatoes, white and green onions around the roast. I sprinkled a little brown sugar over the top and finished it off with a few green onions. I’m going to cook it 4-5 hours on medium heat.
It turned out Delicious…the best roast we’ve ever had!!! ”

Our new cookware arrived today and I was feeling so nervous that I couldn’t open it. As I told you I don’t cook! I host some fabulous dinner parties and do all the fancy decorations & carvings but I cater the rest. We spend hundreds of dollars a month eating at fast food restaurants & local diners. Determined that I could do this, I started with the slow-cooker, a turkey breast, a vegetable bouillon cube, a few carrots, celery, and onions. A couple of hours later my husband was raving about my cooking. He made the demonstration salad from your recipe page, while I cooked a few more veggies in my new sauce pan. We’ve been eating like royalty since having our new cookware. Wanting to do more experimenting, I invited a friend over on Saturday to show me how to cook & season different foods. We spent the entire day making pot roast, beef stew, meatloaf, chili & steak. Then we cooked artichokes, okra, corn & broccoli. Before we knew it we had a small buffet going. I had some steak left over that I offered my friend to take home. She asked if I would cook it in my new cookware because it was much more tender & melts in your mouth. We had so much fun & everything tasted great! Afterward I thought I should start the long agonizing task of cleaning up. As I looked around there was nothing to clean, we had washed each piece by hand as we used it. WOW this stuff is really good!! Now I’m looking forward to adding more pieces to my set.”

“Dear Brett & Lena,
I recently attended your cooking demonstration at the Katy, Texas Home Show. I purchased the Classic Set and also received the salad cutter, small saute pan and 6 quart slow cooker. I used the pans a couple of times cooking something for myself, but last night I cooked pork chops. There were four large pork chops and only two would fit on the bottom of my skillet so I put the other two on top. After the specified time, I turned the pork chops so that the cooked sides were together and finished cooking them. They were wonderful and so moist. My dinner guests could not believe how delicious they were.
I also cooked carrots, cabbage and small yellow potatoes (cut in half) in a separate pan with just a little bit of water and was amazed that there was still water in the pan when they were cooked. They also were delicious! My friends commented on how sweet the cabbage tasted and how each of the vegetables had their “own flavor” and were so good! They were also amazed at how fast I prepared the entire meal.
